The specially designed NetworX keypad is the control for your security system. The keypad enables users to activate the system in either a 'STAY' or 'ARMED' mode. In the 'STAY' mode, only the perimeter sensors (i.e., door and window contacts) are turned on while the interior motion sensors are turned off. This allows freedom of movement within the home or business while being protected. When no one will be at the location being secured, the system should be in the 'ARMED' mode all the sensors are turned on and the system is able to provide maximum protection. NetworX systems have a time delay for entry and exit which allow you to leave and re-enter the building without setting off an alarm when the systems is ARMED

Tips
Arming - Away Mode
- Close all protected doors and windows.
- Enter your 4 or 6 digit user code to arm the system, or Press the [EXIT] button.
Disarming
- When you enter the protected area through one of the designated Entry/Exit doors, the keypad control will sound a continuous tone for the duration of the entry delay time, or until you enter a valid code. The armed icon will go off and the tone will stop. The security system is now DISARMED.
System Reset
- Press [*]-[7]. Resets have now been performed.
- If the keypad begins beeping, the reset did not execute properly. Enter your code to silence the keypad. Wait a few minutes and repeat step 2 to attempt another reset. If the keypad still beeps after repeated attempts, please contact your installer.
Arming - Stay Mode
- Close all protected doors and windows.
- Enter your 4 or 6 digit user code., or Press the [STAY] key.
- To toggle from a “delayed entry” mode to an “Instant” mode, press the [STAY] key again.
Viewing Alarm Memory
- Press [r]-[3]. The zone(s) that created the last alarm will be displayed along with the alarm icon flashing on the keypad.
- The ALARM MEMORY feature will flash those zones that created alarms and will display steady those zones that were bypassed during the last alarm.
